TICKETS are selling fast for Brisbane’s highly sought-after ‘Hunters & Gathers’ party at the Woolly Mammoth this New Years Eve, which brings together the best of two hemispheres under the one roof.

On December 31, the newly opened Woolly Mammoth is set to transform into a global party theme, inviting cave men and women to feast on meat-off-the-bone & mulled wine in a ski lodge setting, while tribal folk will beat to the drum in the tropical garden bar.

Two worlds apart, the ‘Hunters & Gatherers’ party takes a journey to the North Pole in the Alehouse, and then heads to the South American jungle on the Rooftop Garden Bar.

Woolly Mammoth’s general manager, Matthue Wood, said the theme was inspired by the venues diverse offerings and highly themed spaces.

“We have a very mixed crowd and our diverse spaces suit different vibes, so we wanted our theme for New Years Eve to speak to a variety of audiences, whether they were keen to chill out in the lounge and soak up the atmosphere or party on and dance the night away.

“The dark wintery feel in the Alehouse and the bright summer scene in the Rooftop Garden Bar really translated to a global theme,” said Matthue.

“We’ll be serving everything that ignites the senses, from tropical fruity cocktails and jungle juice made with Pimms & Tanqueray to our unique Mammoth lager,” he said.

“This is one New Year’s Eve event that you won’t want to miss out on – and tickets are limited to the first 100 guests.

Keeping with the theme of hunting, hidden morsels of food will be scattered throughout the venue, as well as a menu of rustic pizzas, slow braised baby back ribs and more.
