TOPDECK Travel has its sights set on Asia in 2016, with the global youth travel company today announcing the addition of a new continent to its current mix of destinations.
The launch of a new Asia program will see the company map out trips across Thailand, Indonesia, Japan, Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia, Laos and Cambodia from April.
Topdeck’s Global Brand Director, Sarah Clark, said the decision to move into Asia was part of a bigger growth plan to meet the demands of the youth travel market and open up more of the world for 18-30 somethings.
“The results from our Global Youth Travel Survey saw more than 31,000 people respond with the common trend being that Asia was the next sought after destination,” Ms Clark said.
“Our Asia trip range was prompted by the strong demand from our customers for short haul holiday options that were not only affordable, but also easily accessible from Australia,” she said.
“We’ve seen a gap in the market for the travel style that suits smaller group sizes of 18 –39 year olds looking for adventure, local experiences and premium product.
“Topdeckers can expect 3 – 4star hotels including pools, rooftop bars and twin share accommodation – a great example of Topdeck’s one size doesn’t fit all mantra”.
“We choose vehicles relevant to the area such as bullet trains in Japan, tuk tuks in Vietnam and ferries in Thailand as well as using modern purpose built air-conditioned coaches,” Ms Clark.
“The trips are designed with local trip leaders to give Topdeckers an all access guide to Asia to see it like the locals do,” she said.
“Experiencing authentic street food markets, a social enterprise restaurant and lunching with locals in remote villages delivers an all round unique trip.
“This is Asia like we’ve never seen it before. We’re the first to launch a product of this style in this location, it’s a picture of what is yet to come with Topdeck”.
All 11 trips have been carefully selected to give future Topdeckers the chance to ski in Hakuba, experience the energetic Ho Chi Minh City, laze on the beaches in Seminyak and see Angkor Wat in Cambodia, the largest religious monument in the world.
Ms Clark recommends the 27-day Indochina and Thailand trip as a great way to explore Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand and Bangkok.
To celebrate its Asia launch, Topdeck is offering a 25% discount for all departures before June 30, 2016 and a 15% launch deal paid in full by 15 January 2016 for departures July 1, 2016.
Established more than 40 years ago by friends who shared a passion for adventure, Topdeck has built its reputation on providing travellers with authentic and fun group travel experience around the world.
Today, the company’s trip program spans Europe, Australia & New Zealand, North America, Egypt & the Middle East and Africa.
