ALL you need is love on Valentines Day, but who said the love story has to be written on February 14, when you can let your heart flutter all year long.

Hopeless romantics who missed the memo from cupid this month don’t have to wait until next year to spoil their special someone, with a list of the ‘Top 5 Most Romantic European Destinations for 2015’ released by Topdeck this week.

According to the lovebirds at Topdeck, this year’s buzzwords are ‘experiential’ and ‘travel by interest’, with both trends lending themselves to romance and new love.

Topdeck’s General Manager, Sarah Clark, said Europe was a fairytale destination with a storybook atmosphere that provided numerous backdrops for couples that wanted to experience new cultures and learn other languages.

“Couples of every age will find the scenery in Europe’s countries simply breathtaking, from the architecture to the treasure-trove of hidden laneways,” said Sarah.

“Often it’s the small towns and coastal strips that provide a private escape from the madness of bigger traveller hubs, allowing couples to learn more about each other in a foreign city,” she said.

In the tune of love, the team has put together its pick of travel ‘love-spots’ for 2015, including a few off-the-beaten-track locations, which will be the catalyst for travelling love.
